A quick update, and an invitation to see what I’ve been building.

It’s been a while since I’ve published here. I haven’t stopped writing. Most of my attention over the past several months has gone into building The AI Grid Report, where I’ve been following the collision between artificial intelligence, electricity, infrastructure, and capital.
I’ve been researching one question that keeps getting more important every week:
What if AI is no longer primarily a software story?
Every week seems to bring another announcement about larger models, more GPUs, or another billion-dollar investment.
Behind all of those headlines sits a much less visible story.
Who has the electricity?
Who can build fast enough?
Who controls the transmission?
Who decides whether a project actually gets built?
Those questions have quietly become economic, financial, and increasingly political.
The latest edition looks at how AI is changing the relationship between software and infrastructure, and why the biggest constraint may no longer be compute at all.
